Northwood, NH: William R. Sorel, 75, of Coles Road, passed away on Thurs, June 1, 2014, suddenly at his residence. William was born on Jan. 10, 1939 in South Boston, MA; the son of late Louis Sorel and Margaret (Miller) Caputo. William was a manufacturing engineer for MSM in North Reading, MA for many years. He was a computer whiz, loved computers, woodworking and using his hands. He enjoyed watching the Three Stooges and the Young and the Restless. William is survived by his wife of 11 years, Jane (Williams) Sorel; his mother, Margaret Caputo; a son, William O. Sorel and his wife Dawn of South Boston, MA; a step-son, Kenneth Smith and his wife, Kari of Exeter; a brother, Anthony "Carl" Caputo of Buzzards Bay; two sisters, Patricia Lynch of Grand Island, FL and Catherine Rooney of Taunton, MA; his grandchildren, Nickolas, Alexander, Lillyanna Sorel and Carmen and Austin Smith. Friends and family may call from 2-3:00pm on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Lee, NH with a memorial service immediately following at 3:00pm with Rev.
