Dover: William S. Gibbons, 80, of Applevale Dr., passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. He was born on Sept. 6, 1939 in Milan, NH; the son of John, Sr. and Pearl (Goddard) Gibbons. William worked as a foreman at Robert Shoe and then retired from Lydall after 23 years. He married Ida (Cummings) Gibbons on Sept. 5, 1959 and raised seven children, Sheila Boston (Ken), Marie Coleman (fiancé Charles Prior), Jean LaRivere (Roland), Sheryl Rennick (Tim), Robert Gibbons (Linda), Lee Gibbons and Wayne Gibbons (Shari); five grandchildren, Doug Coleman, Jr. Kystina Gibbons, Asley & Kevin Rennebu, Ashley Emerson (Tyler) and Hunter Rennick; his siblings, Thelma Valley, Margerte Gibbons, Patricia Young and Paul Gibbons. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Gibbons Jr. And Corey Gibbons. A funeral service will be 11:00am on Fri., March 22, 2019 at the funeral home with Deacon Robert Gagnon, officiating. A burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover.
