Milton, New Hampshire: William Otis Folsom, 85, of Salt Box Road died June 20, 2019 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover. He was born on June 26, 1933 in Rochester, NH; the son of Arthur S. and Lorene (Stepherson) Folsom. He married Jan Elsa Watkins April 30, 1979 in Carson City, Nevada. William was a graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester and served in the United States Marine Corp from September 1954 to May 1958. He worked as a meteorologist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association. After retirement in Anchorage, Alaska, William and Jan traveled briefly and settled in Nevada. William is survived by children, John Watkins and wife Jennifer of Fishers, Indiana and Richard Watkins and wife Linda of Glendale, Arizona; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother Tom Folsom of Rangeley, Maine; four nephews and three nieces. He was pre-deceased by his wife; son, William (Willie); parents; brother, Arthur (Sharky); and sister, Elizabeth (Betty). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Salvation Army in Williams memory. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm on June 26, 2019 at New Cold Spring Cemetery, East Rochester, NH.
