DOVER – Viola F. Roux, 92, of Dover, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA. Daughter of the late Frank and Julia Emerson, Viola was born on February 1, 1922 in Bridgeton, ME. Along with her parents, Viola is predeceased by her husband, Bertrand J. Roux, and her sister, Edith Bean. Viola is survived by her three sons; Richard Roux of Somersworth, Daniel Roux of Dover, and Ronald Roux of Valdosta, GA; her brother Tom Emerson; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, from 6pm to 7pm at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover, NH 03820. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation with Fr. Agapit Jean officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 22 at 9am at the St. Charles Cemetery in Dover, NH.
