Somersworth, NH – Valerie Darlene Warrington, 63, of 102 Green Street died on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Wentworth Douglas Hospital after a short battle with cancer. She was born on October 6, 1955 in Portland Maine; the daughter of Russell Littlefield and Gladys Littlefield (Hartford). Valerie is survived by her husband Mark Warrington; her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Lauren Littlefield of Dover, her daughter, Samantha Warrington of Sanford, her step-son Mark Warrington of Portsmouth, and 5 grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Russell Littlefield and Barry Littlefield. Val served in the restaurant industry for most of her life. She worked at Warren’s Lobster House in Kittery, Maine for over 20 years. She was dedicated to her customers and restaurant family at Warren’s. She loved the Red Sox and Mickey Mouse. One of Val’s fondest memories was going to Disney with her grandkids. Christmas time was her favorite time of year, and her family and friends would always receive a box of Val’s cookies during that season. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at 4:00 p.m., with calling hours following the service from 4:30 – 6:00 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home at 655 Central Ave in Dover.
