Strafford: Thomas Edward Perry, 81 of Rowell Drive, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 5, 2018 of complications from COPD. Thomas was born on Oct. 14, 1936 in Watertown, NY; the son of Edward Joseph Perry & Mary Evelyn (Thompson) Perry. Thomas proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 21 years, retiring as Master Sergeant. He also served as a Hospice Chaplin for many years in different areas of the US and loved the Lord with all his heart. He shared Bee Keeping with his companion, Alice Childress whom he shared a deep love. He enjoyed boating/sailing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was always helping others. Thomas is survived by sons, Ken Smith of Strafford and Thomas Andrew Perry of Navarre, Florida; his daughter, Mary Perry Leavitt & her husband, Richard of Strafford NH; his three brothers, Bob, John & Steve Perry; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins from Cali to overseas. Thomas is also survived by his former wife, Dene Perry and her children whom he held dear to his heart. Thomas was predeceased by his first wife, Jean Duncan Perry, his son, Edward J. Perry and his daughter, Linda Perry Griffin. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, June 2, with Pastor Muzzey, Jr. officiating, at the Third Baptist Church, 30 Strafford Rd, Strafford, NH 03884.
