Obituary for Thayer C. Harris Mr.

DOVER - Thayer C. Harris Born July 6, 1990 in Dover New Hampshire, passed unexpectedly in Watertown Massachusetts on June 7, 2014. He is survived by his father Craig Harris and uncle Mark Nichols both of New Hampshire, and aunt Correne (Harris) Zenzola and uncle Mike Zenzola, cousins Michael, Brandon, and Delaney Zenzola, grandparents Gerald and Beverly Harris all of California, and many more relatives scattered about the country. Thayer was an inspiration to everyone he met. A respected musician, an honest business professional, a true and trusted friend, a gentle caring person, a dedicated and loving son, Thayer brought so much happiness to so many people. His accomplishment of the rank of black belt at an early age is testament to his devotion and perseverance to every challenge he was engaged in. Graduating with a bachelors of Science degree, Thayer quickly made use of his learned skills and became a talented and sought after recording engineer in the Boston area. When asked what it is that he does for work he would simply reply with that funny smile of his, “My job is to make people sound good.” While this is a tragic and untimely loss, we should all celebrate the life of the young man Thayer whom we knew and loved. Please gather and recall those funny moments, freely shed a tear or two, reflect upon the studio time and stage performances, embrace and share the special friendship times, and know that this is what Thayer would want. Thayer’s mother Karen would have been so proud of the special individual her only child had become. Thayer shared all of Karen’s ethics, and was one never to boast. Unpretentious Thayer…. “My job is to make people sound good.” May he rest in peace and may his memory be cherished forever. God bless you Thayer. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 5PM to 8PM at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover, NH 03820.
