Stuart J. Lucius, 61, died on March 5, 2024, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with renal disease.
Stu was a lifelong resident of Dover NH, graduating from Dover High School in 1981, where he played baseball and football. He then attended American International College. Until his retirement, he was employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
He was predeceased by his parents, Sherman and Sophie, and brother Steven Lucius. He is survived by his son Bryan and wife Leann, daughter Bryanna Lewis and husband Devon, brothers Sherman Jr, Scott and wife, Sue. Along with his three grandchildren, Haddie, Sophie and Zoe, whom he cherished and loved being with.
Stu was a gentle soul with a big heart who will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
Stu was a communicant of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church and was so thankful for the support and prayers he constantly received from Reverend Sue and the congregation.
At Stu’s request a private family celebration of his life will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Purdy Funeral Service.
