Stephen M Berry
Barrington NH: Stephen Michael Berry, 70, of 22 Second St passed away on July 26, 2021 at Mass General Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side after a brief but courageous battle of leukemia.
He was born on May 21, 1951 in Cambridge Massachusetts; the son of Martin E. and Madeline (Turner) Berry.
He served in the Army as a medic, and then began his career at The Portsmouth Navel Shipyard where he repaired submarines for many years before retiring in 2003. He was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, riding motorcycles, and snowmobiling. He enjoyed his many adventures traveling with his wife and daughter. He loved spending time with his dogs throughout the years, the most recent being his “boy Ted" as he lovingly referred to him. Stephen was an elder in his church.
Stephen is survived by spouse of 47 years, Verna (Jennings); a daughter Jill and her fiance Steven of Nacogdoches Tx; 2 grandchildren, Louis and Isabella, and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his granddaughter Keleena Marie, his mother and father, and his aunt Anna Krolikowski
