Sheila May Fernald, 79, of Madbury, N.H. died Saturday, July 9th, 2022. One of five children born to Albert Jones and Florence Burrows, she grew up in Durham, N.H. and was a graduate of Oyster River High School. At the age of 19 she married David Fernald and moved to Madbury, N.H where she would live for the next 60 years. She raised her two daughters, Terry and Jodi, and worked as a cafeteria worker for the Oyster River and Dover school districts. She was a breast cancer survivor who was an avid knitter and enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets, swimming in her pool, baking for her grandchildren, and eating a good bowl of ice cream. She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Fernald and her grandchildren, Victoria Hanson, Alex Hanson, and Austin Hanson. There will be a private graveside service attended by her family.
