Ruth passed peacefully at home with family by her side on July 26th, 2023, at the age of 94. Born in 1928 to Frank and Helen (Rowe) Eyres in the Dover Hayes Hospital located on Summer Street. Lifelong resident, she participated in the Brownie and Girl Scout troops. Graduating from Dover High School in 1946, went on to work at the Clarostat Manufacturing Co and Darcy’s Millwork Co. among other places. Married in 1962 to Richard C. Hiltunen (Sr) at St Joseph’s Church and settling on Tolend Rd to raise a family. Ruth was an avid goer of yard sales, church donation sales and flea markets and noted for hosting her own yard sales. She is pre-deceased by her husband Richard Hiltunen (Sr) 2018, and survived by her 3 children Richard (Jr), Linda, Ronald. Ruth will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery with a private ceremony. She will be sorely missed.
