Obituary for Brown
Robin E. Brown (January 14, 1960 – June 10, 2022), 62, departed life at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine where she discovered she had a misdiagnosed lung disease that had significantly progressed after recovering from pneumonia. Robin was born and raised in Berwick, Maine. She spent the last 12 years of her life living peacefully in Livermore Falls, Maine.
Robin will be remembered for her incredible compassion and respect for all things living. She would keep things on-hand in her home and car just-in-case someone else should need them. She cared deeply for those (human or otherwise) enduring life’s struggles. She would rather suffer than see someone else do so; thus, she would give you the shirt off her back.
Robin mothered one child, Tia, to whom she dedicated her life. She thought of her nuclear family as each member having a role to play. Her job was to take care of our home, providing a clean and loving environment to thrive. My father’s job was to earn a paycheck to support the costs of living. My job was to be successful in school so that I could go on to make a good life for myself.
Robin is loved by many who remark on her outstanding kindness, gentle soul, and unique sense of humor. She is survived by her mother, Lillian Brown; brothers, Robert Brown and Henry Brown; sisters Judith Kennard and Jean Ward; daughter, Tia Fechter; granddaughter, Thea Fechter; and cat, Noel.
