Obituary for Robert Joyal Sr.
Rochester-Robert Joyal, Sr. 92, passed away at his residence after a period of failing health.
Born January 25, 1930 in Dover, NH he was the son of the late Edward Joyal, Sr and Margaret (Casey) Joyal.
Robert worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as rigger and blaster. He enjoyed fishing, flying kites and reading his bible.
Robert is survived by his wife Gale Joyal of Rochester, one son; Robert Joyal, Jr. and his wife Flora of Berwick, one daughter; Victoria Cheslock and her husband Michael of Somersworth, one brother; James Joyal of Rochester, three sisters; Kathleen Campbell, Maryann Getchell, Joni McGlone, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday September 1, 2022 from 9am to 11am at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover NH. A Memorial service will follow at 11am.
