Greenland - Richard D Parks, 64, passed away May, 6, 2012 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Born February 6, 1948 in Lynn, Mass; He was the son of Robert J. Parks and Marion A. Parks. He graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School and the University of New Hampshire. He was a longtime resident of Greenland. He retired in 2011 as Senior Vice President/CFO from Northeast Credit Union in Portsmouth where he worked for over 20 years. He is survived by his mother, Marion Parks of Somersworth, brothers: Robert Parks of Somersworth, David Parks of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Jeffrey Parks of ME; sister, Carol McCoy and her husband, David McCoy of Northwood, NH; A special friend, Dr. Rosanna Occhipinti, of Padua, Italy; seven nieces; two grandnieces and two grandnephews. At the request of Richard, there will be no funeral service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
