Richard Clement Hiltunen Sr. Dover, NH: Richard Clement Hiltunen Sr., 86, of Tolend Rd Dover NH, died on Thursday, July 12th 2018 at Hyder Family Hospice House Dover with his family by his side after a lengthy battle with dementia. He was born on March 13th, 1932 in Salem Massachusetts; the son of Charles T. and Lauretta J. (Longval) Hiltunen. Richard was a member and had fondest memories with the Sea Scouts of America, he graduated Beverly High School, Beverly MA 1951; Honorable discharge USN, 1952; He married Ruth at St Joseph’s Church in Dover NH, 1962; he was a Professional typewriter and office equipment technician ~40+ years, a Volunteer and assistant scout master, Boy Scouts of America. His hobbies included yard sales and flea markets with his wife, gardening, maintaining his home, and looking for anything that had to be fixed. He enjoyed lending a helping hand to anyone, and could fix just about anything. He will be dearly missed. Richard is survived by spouse of 56 years, Ruth Helen Eyres; children Richard (Jr) of Madbury NH, Linda of Amesbury MA, Ronald of Dover NH; siblings Clark of Haverhill MA, and 2 grandchildren, Alex and Alecia. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Pine Hill Cemetery with Deacon Robert Gagnon, officiating.
