Obituary for Richard W. Cunningham Jr.

Rochester – Richard William Cunningham, Jr., 76, formerly a longtime resident of Northwood, NH before moving to Rochester, NH for the last 26 years, died on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at his home. Born June 10, 1946, in Concord, NH; He was the son of Richard W & Mozelle G (Maney) Cunningham. He served four years in the United States Air Force. He worked at Nortel in Concord, NH, Cabletron in Rochester, NH and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME, before retiring. He attended Nute Ridge Bible Chapel in Milton, NH. He loved birdwatching and gardening. He was a quiet, thoughtful man, who loved his wife and family. Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Paul H. Cunningham in 2012; He is survived by his wife, Theresa R. (Seyer) Cunningham, his stepchildren, Linda LeBrun and Bill Walch, both of Manchester, NH, David Walch of Nashua, NH, and Steven Walch of Northwood, NH, Nine grandchildren – Matthew, Jeffrey, Jessica, Michelle, Jonathan, Breanna, Anthony, Sam and Noah, and Seven great grandchildren – Aubriana, Gerard, Liam, Carter, Jonathan, Catalina and Alex. He is also survived by an aunt, Mildred Perry; and two uncles, Marvin Maney and Samuel Maney, all of Georgia. We would like to thank the people from Wentworth Hospice for their splendid care, which enabled Richard to spend the last month of his life at home.
