Raymond L. Emery, 72 of No. Berwick, Maine passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Hyder Hospice House. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing, and is now with the Lord. Raymond was born in Portsmouth, NH on October 29, 1939; the son of Raymond L. Emery, Sr. and Mildred L. (Brooks) Emery. He was the brother of Stephen E. Emery and Paul G. Emery (deceased). He is survived by his wife Mildred E. (Woods) Emery, sons Robert A. Emery and his wife, Kimberly, Michael D. Emery, daughter, Laurie A. (Emery) Chambers and husband Joe; five grandchildren, Kayla Emery, Meg Emery, Tess Emery, Zachary Chambers, and Matthew Chambers. Raymond graduated from Berwick Academy in South Berwick, Maine in 1957. Raymond was an employee of Davidson Textron in Dover, NH giving 30 years of dedicated service. He also worked 12 years in the Noble High School System in Berwick, Maine. He was an avid reader, passionate gardener and talented wood craftsman. He sold Christmas trees for many years from his home in North Berwick. Raymond will be remembered as a loving husband to his wife, wonderful father to his children, a caring Grandfather and a great friend to the many whose lives he has touched. We will miss him dearly. A funeral service will be held on Tues., July 10, 2012 at 11:00am at the Hope Community Church, 197 Sixth Street, Dover, NH with Pasto Chad Fernald, officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick, Maine.
