Dover-Raymond E. Bailey, Jr., 86, of Tolend Rd, passed away Wednesday July 25, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. Born September 24, 1931 in Barrington he was the son of the late Raymond E. Bailey, Sr. and Charlotte (Goff) Bailey. Raymond was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, Past Master of the Strafford Lodge 29, Member of York Rite in Rochester, 32° Scottish Rite – Bektash Shriner and Past member of Cocheco Grange #81. He is survived by his wife, Edith of Dover; two sons, Raymond E. Bailey III and his wife Juana of Barrington and Brian S. Bailey of N. Berwick, ME; one daughter, Belinda Bailey of Lisbon, NH; brother, Earl Bailey; sister, Eleanor Corson; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Ray was predeceased by his sisters, Betty Batchelder and Irene Grant and his granddaughter, Hannah Rae Bailey. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover with Rev. Sue Frost of St. John’s United Methodist Church.
