Obituary for Ralph Thomas Capobianco Jr.
EPSOM – Ralph Thomas Capobianco, Jr, 87, of Epsom NH. Ralph passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Born in Cambridge, MA on June 3, 1936, he was the son of the late Ralph Thomas Capobianco, Sr and Anna (Chicariello) Capobianco.
Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his sister, Anna Tucci, and his brothers, Carl, John, and Romolo Capobianco.
Members of his family include his wife of almost 65 years, Barbara Jean Capobianco, his daughter Sandra Pfaff and her husband Paul Pfaff, his son Carl Capobianco, all of Epsom, NH, and his grandson Anthony Pfaff of Manchester, NH.
Ralph grew up in Billerica, MA, on The Early Bird Farm, where his family raised thousands of chickens and turkeys. He went on to be a self-employed Tile Contractor and Home Builder until his retirement. Ralph loved to collect and tinker with antique tractors, especially Farmall's. He was a member of both The Power of The Past Antique Tractor Club and The East Coast Tractor Club. For years he displayed his numerous tractors at the Deerfield Fair. Additionally, cooking was another joy of his life, and he was nominated as the club’s chef extraordinaire.
Ralph constantly needed something to do. Always tinkering in one of his many sheds, tending his vegetable gardens, or cutting and stacking firewood; even well into his 80’s.
There will be a Celebration of Life on October 21st, 2023, at the Billerica Elks, in Billerica, MA. at 14 Webb Brook Rd from 1 to 4 pm.
