Dover: Prem Ramdev of Dover Neck Road, passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH with her family by her side. Prem was born on May 25,1940 in Hyderabad, India; the daughter of Ananthan and Saraswathi (Devi) Thula. Prem Graduated from Keyes High School as the class Valedictorian and then from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad India. She worked in England in Internal Medicine, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Harvard Medical School Deaconess Hospital. She worked for 25 years at the Manchester Veterans Administration Hospital as an internist. She received the Hands and Heart award from the VA for her diligent care of the Veterans. She was a longtime member of the AMA, Indian Medical Association of New England, and the American Association of Physicians from India. Prem is survived by spouse of 52 years, Babu Ramdev; sons, Pranay Ramdev (Franca Ramdev) and Nomith Ramdev (Sangeetha Ramdev); four grandchildren (Rajan, Rahul, Maya, and Riya); her sisters, Geetha Todd, Rekha Thaddaka, Omi Keesari and Jyothi Persha and many nieces, nephews; and friends. A Celebration of Prem’s life will be held at the Grill 28, Pease Golf Course at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 6, 2019.
