Phyllis Towne Casey, 83, passed on August 14, 2018. Phyllis was a lifelong resident of Dover, NH and graduated from Dover High School. Phyllis was the fifth child of Everett and Gladys Towne. Phyllis was married to the love of her life, H. Joseph Casey for 58 wonderful years. They had four children Donald (Debra), Paul (Mary), Patricia Farnum and Janice (Peter) Mulligan; Ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her siblings, three brothers, Lawrence (Reita), Clifford (Sarah), Norman (Barbara) and a sister Shirley (Harry) Markoff. Playing cards, knitting and crocheting were her joys, but she loved curling up in her chair with a good book. Phyllis was a member of St. Johns Methodist Church. She served on The Care Team, The Holy Folders and the Funeral Luncheon Committee, She had friends who she traveled with on many bus trips and shared many Sunday afternoons together. Phyllis, with her husband Joe, shared a love of Square Dancing and the many friends they made through the years. Phyllis was still a member of the Nubble Lighthouse Keepers in Wells, Maine. Joe was their club caller for many years. By Phyllis’ request there will be no calling hours.
