Obituary for Paul Bumford Mr.

Barrington – Paul Woodrow Bumford, 88, proved that when you lose the one you love, you cannot always go on without her. Paul passed away twenty-six hours and thirty-nine minutes after his beloved wife (Marion) Joyce Bumford, on November 12, 2014. Paul was born in Barrington, NH on April 5, 1926 to the late Roland and Stella Bumford. Paul was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. After the war, he worked as a Patent Maker for Kidder Press. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Dover, the VFW in Barrington, and the Historical Society of Barrington. As previously mentioned, he is predeceased by only hours by his loving wife Joyce Bumford; and his brother Roger C. Bumford. Paul is survived by his sons, William Robert Bumford of Manchester, Brian Paul Bumford and his wife Brenda of Barrington; one niece; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Visitation for Paul will take place simultaneously with his wife’s, on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from Noon to 1pm at the Purdy Memorial Chapel. Their service will take place following visitation and will be officiated by Pastor Rob Willis. Per his wishes, Paul will be cremated, and his cremated remains will be inurned beside his loving wife on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11AM with military honors.
