DOVER – Patsy “Pat” Rita, 74, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at home with his immediate family by his side after a period of failing health. Pat was born on March 1, 1940 to Elsie Rita and the late Victor Rita in Coaldale, PA. Pat is predeceased by his father, Victor Rita and his brother Joseph Rita. Pat is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Alice Joann Rita; his mother Elsie Rita of PA; Sister Ms. Rita Repinec of PA; his children, Son Louie Rita of NH; Ms. Patty Meeks of NH; Mr. John and Joann Wyatt of OH; Along with his step children: Mr. Ford “Pete” and Denise Shaw of NH; Mr. Edward and Amy Cantin of MS, Mr. Daniel and Lori Novara of TX; Ms. Cary Turcotte and Mr. Frank Munroe of MA; and a special Son-in-law Mr. Daniel Nixon Bieteru, wife Lisa Turcotte and loving Grandson, Jayshawn of NH; long time family pet Susie; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. With a special mention of close family friends: Wesley Maynard, Robin Libby, and Jen Kimball Pat proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. Inurnment will take place on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 1PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patsy Rita’s name to the Wentworth Douglas Hospital Cancer Center in Dover, NH.
