Obituary for Patricia H Dell Isola

Dover: Patricia H. Dell Isola, nee Hoag, passed away on Tues., Feb. 14, 2012, at Watson Fields, after a long illness. Mrs. Dell Isola was born on July 27, 1936 in New York City, NY; the daughter of John and Henrietta (Harrison) Hoag. She attended Red Bank Catholic and then Hanover NH High School. She then attended the University of Vermont. She had a fulfilled life, often travelling to most of the major cities in Europe and the Middle East with her husband, John a captain of 28 years with TWA. On Saturday, February 11th, she and John celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Mrs. Dell Isola also spent the last ten years wintering at their home in Winter Haven, FL. She was active with Habitat for Humanity, and was a real estate representative for Century 21. She was an artist, but her real passion was golf, having been a member of Cochecho Country Club for the last 46 years. She is survived by her husband John, and five children, Kathleen Wallace, Colleen Lake, Jay Dell Isola, Robert Dell Isola, and Patte Dell Isola; her brother, Jack Hoag and his wife, Barbara; and she also leaves ten grandchildren, Danny, John, Alex, Geoffrey, Jack, Matthew, Casey, Sam, Genevieve and Hagan. Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to Habitat for Humanity International, 121 Habitat Street, Americus, GA 31709-3498. Friends and family may call from 5-7:00pm on Fri., Feb. 17, 2012 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Sat., Feb. 18, 2012 in the Parish of the Assumption at St. Joseph’s Parish Church, 150 Central Ave., Dover, NH 03820, with Father Marc Gagne, officiating.
