On April 28, 2023, Pasquale “Pat” Pagliuca peacefully went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family singing around his bedside.

Pat was born in the North End of Boston, MA on April 7, 1928 to Angelo and Maria Pagliuca who were both born in Italy. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Violet Pagliuca. He was predeceased by his sister, Carmela, his son, Stephen of Greer, SC, and Stephen’s wife, Melissa of Greer, SC.

He is lovingly remembered by his son Marc Pagliuca and wife, Joy, of Greer, SC, and his daughter Violette Morris and her husband Lyle, of Atkinson NH, his brother Angelo, “Mezzie” Pagliuca and his wife Shirley Pagliuca of Medford, MA, and his nieces and nephew, Carla Cunningham and family, Kim Carbone and family and John Pagliuca. He had eight grandchildren. Hannah Webster and husband Brandon, of Derry, NH, Luke Morris and wife Anna of Hudson, NH, Marc Pagliuca and wife, Chelsea of Greer, SC, Spencer Pagliuca, of Greer, SC, Leah Phillips and husband Collin, of Sutton, NH, Phillip Pagliuca of Greer, SC, Sophia Pagliuca of Greer, SC, and Mia Pagliuca, of Greer, SC. He had eleven great grandchildren, Lincoln, Haverille, Alton, Camilla, Hadley, Edin, Raegan, Winston, Camden, Bella and Bailey.

Pat served in the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Italy. After he was discharged, he worked for Armor Meat Company for 32 years. He then worked in the housekeeping department at Choate Hospital in Woburn, MA, followed by 10 years as the housekeeping supervisor at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. When Pat retired, he and Vi moved to their special place, “Up Country”, in Barrington NH, where they lived for 33 years. After he retired he worked at Market Basket for a few years bagging groceries.

Dad was known for being a handyman and his improvisation. He didn’t throw anything away. He would repurpose old items in the most amazing ways. One of his favorite hobbies was building and painting bird houses. Every family household, as well as many friends, own one of his handmade treasures. He loved spending time in “the shed”. Often times you would find him in there puttering around.

The Lord graciously gave him a life full of love, hard work, serving in his church and an abundance of special family times. He touched so many lives and we will be forever blessed with the memory of his life here on earth. He now resides in heaven and we will be together again someday.

A memorial service to remember Pat’s life will be held at Salem Bible Church in Salem, NH on Saturday, May 13 at 11 a.m.
