Obituary for Pamela F Nicholson Ms.

Pamela F. Nicholson of Rochester passed away on December 28, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pam spent Christmas, the way she always did, surrounded by loved ones and knowing the true spirit of the holiday. Pam was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 5, 1942. She was the daughter of Walter and Florence Dowd. She attended schools in Massachusetts, Maryland and in New Hampshire where she received a degree in Medical Assisting from McIntosh College. She was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Society in 1996. She worked at the Rochester Manor for many years and also at Strafford County Homemakers. Pam enjoyed spending time with her family. She had many hobbies and was very crafty. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Evalynn Hartman and her husband Wayne of West Virginia, Mrs. Jennifer Jacques and her husband, Brian of Rochester and Ryan Wood of Madbury. Also surviving Pam are the grandchildren she adored. Rachel Martel, Kevin Thompson Jr, Robert Hartman Jr, Sherry Hartman, Wesley Lyle, Collin and Connor Jacques and Brianna Wood and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by granddaughter, Crystal Wood. She leaves behind sisters Sharyn King of Maine, Linda Gaudreau and her husband William, Bonnie Therrien and her husband, Rob of New Hampshire; Donna Henderson of Massachusetts and Peggy Robbins and her husband, Carl also of Massachusetts; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews that she enjoyed and visited with each summer at family reunions.
