Norman Henry Houde, 84 years old, of Eliot Maine passed away July 13, 2021 peacefully at his home on the Piscataqua River. He was born Sept. 8, 1937 in Dover NH. The 3rd child of 7 of the late Alfred & Louise (Gagnon) Houde. Norman served his country in the US Navy from 1956-1960. He was employed by the DF Richard family where he was aka "Hoody" until his retirement in which he spent lobstering and fishing and enjoying Life. Norman was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Richard and Donald. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Cassell) Houde, two daughters Judy Newhall of Rollinsford NH and Linda Houde and partner Rick Hiltunen of Madbury, four grandchildren Jamila O"Brien of Wells ME, Ian Newhall, Alicia & Alex Hiltunen.
Friends and relatives are invited to a graveside service on Thursday July 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles cemetery in Dover.
