Obituary for Norma E Toussaint (Elliott)

Norma Ellen (Elliott) Toussaint, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sept. 11, 2023. She was born on Dec. 10, 1935, to John and Mildred (Ball) Elliott in Benton, NH.
After attending school in Benton, NH she lived in CA where she started her family and then moved to Rollinsford where she has been a resident for over 50 years. Norma worked in the restaurant industry most of her life working at Week’s Restaurant in Dover, NH for over 35 years and Langdon Place in Dover, NH.
Norma was a proud member of the First Baptish Church, So. Berwick, ME. Her church family held a special place in her heart attending Tuesday morning lady’s group and Bible study. She was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 47. She was proud to be an American. In her spare time, she loved reading especially her Bible, knitting, and playing games on her iPad. She also loved to watch Westerns on TV with her girl and was a very competitive Skip-Bo player. Norma is predeceased by her husband, Robert Toussaint, special friend Jack, parents, and many siblings. She is survived by her daughters Terri (Norman) Trombly of Rollinsford, NH, Karen (James) Gordon of Biddeford, ME, Pamela (Wendell) Davis of Durham, NH and son, Edward (Corky) Clough of Rollinsford, NH. A special niece, Kathy Jean Heath (Roger) of Rollinsford, NH who was like a daughter to her, Donna Anderson (Darrel) of Dover, NH and extended family members, John, Jeff, Tim, and Dan.
Grandchildren, Kelli Ferrer, Christopher Corliss, Jessica Stinson, David Trombly, Elliot Davis, Catherine Davis, Jordan Anderson, Austin Anderson, and Abigail Anderson. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Hayden, Parker, Benjamin, Luke, Liam, Hazel, Jensen, Elliott, Lyla, and Owen. Siblings Betty Sawyer of Bath, NH, James Elliott of Benton, NH, and Jeanette Brown of Benton, NH.
Norma’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Wentworth Douglas Hospital for their care and compassion, especially RN, Mary Mignano and LNA, Dawn Morest who went above and beyond.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family members.
