Dover: Norma Jean Osgood, 94, formerly of Green St. passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover. Norma was born on March 14, 1924 in Portland ME; the daughter of the late Hazel Osgood and Owen E. Butler. Norma was a Dover resident for over 50 years; she was very active in the community, lending a hand wherever needed. Norma loved to dance, she was fabulous and could be seen dancing at the Rockingham Ball Room. She was a quiet, gentle lady who loved to watch people and quite frankly found them to be very interesting and sometimes peculiar. Norma worked as secretary at Met-Life for many years. She will be greatly missed by all that new her. Norma leaves behind, Muriel Drew, Doralee Willoughby, Robbin Willoughby, Reita Jasper and many friends. A special thanks to all nursing staff at Riverside Rest Home who gave Norma excellent care. Norma will be laid to rest at Pine Hill Cemetery.
