Obituary for Michael L. Newsky Mr.

Barrington: Michael L. Newsky, 75, of Watson Road, previously Province Road, passed away peacefully on Tues., Dec. 6, 2011 with his family by his side at Watson Fields Assisted Living in Dover, where he has resided for the for the past two years. Michael was born on Aug. 1, 1936 in Dover, NH; the son of Joseph and Alice (Timmins) Newsky. Michael proudly served our country in the US Army National Guard. He was employed for 43 years with Kidder Press/Heidelberg Manufacturing, retiring as the manager of Valued Engineering. Michael especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed wood working, making many custom items for his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and sports. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara (Neal) Newsky of Barrington; his two sons, Joseph Newsky and his wife, Sonya of Wells, ME, Michael Newsky, and his wife, Susan of Barrington; his three daughters, Donna Kay and her husband, David, Susan Hart and her husband Stephen and Linda Mayo and her husband, Scott all of Barrington; one sister, Rosemary McKinnon and her husband Donald of Florida; his 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Watson Fields for the care and love Mike received while living there. He truly became a part of their family. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 10:00 on Mon., Dec. 12, 2011 at the Parish of the Assumption, St. Mary’s Church, Corner of Third and Chestnut Streets, Dover with Father Marc Gagne, officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Barrington in the spring of 2012. Arrangements are under the directions of Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, NH.
