Barrington: Mary Kathryn Spaulding, “Kay”, 71, of Melodie Lane, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Kay was born on May 8, 1943 in Hazelton, PA; the daughter of Daniel and Mary (O’Lair) Doyle. Kay worked as a cashier at W. R. Grace and most recently the Christmas Tree Shoppe in Newington; she loved to travel to Aruba, and loved to shop. She enjoyed yard sales, going to Foxwoods, gardening and crafts. Kay is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ernest Spaulding, Sr. of Barrington; her two sons, Ernest Spaulding, Jr. and his wife, Janice, of Hampton; Daniel Spaulding and his wife Tracy of Groveland, MA; a daughter, Cheryl Butler of Lynn; her sister, Barbara Doyle of Lynn; Seven grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren. Flowers welcome, Memorial donations may be made in Kay’s name to the Seacoast Cancer Center, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, 789 Central Ave., Dover, NH 03820.
