Obituary for Marsha Louise Thibodeau (Robertson)

Rye, NH- On Sunday, August 21, 2022, Marsha Louise (Robertson) Thibodeau passed from this life and ascended to our Heavenly Father’s house in Heaven. Born on March 7, 1953 in Saugus, Massachusetts to the late Carl Pearce Robertson and Ellen Hepburn (Johnston) Robertson. She grew up in Saugus, graduating from Saugus High School in 1971. She moved to Exeter, NH in 1987 and has resided in Rye, NH for the past 23 years. Marsha enjoyed her work in bookkeeping and retail management before her retirement. She enjoyed camping with her family from a young age and continued the tradition with her children and grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a dedicated grandmother who loved her grandchildren with all her being, as was evident by just how much her face would light up the moment any of them would walk into the room. She enjoyed gardening, and took great pride in her flower gardens. She had a knack for crafts and would keep herself busy with many projects throughout the years.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey Thibodeau of Rye, NH, her sister, Linda (Robertson) Murphy of West Boxford, MA and her brother, William Robertson of North Conway, NH, as well as her three children; Amy (Ferguson) Thibodeau of Rye, NH and her significant other, Robert Spaulding , Emily (Ferguson) Gilbert and her husband, Jonathan Gilbert of Rochester, NH and Scott Ferguson of Middleton, NH, as well as her grandchildren, Caleb and Kate Thibodeau, Julianna Gilbert and Kamdyn Ferguson, who were all the lights of her life. She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Mickey J. Thibodeau, Jason Thibodeau, Amber York and Dustin Thibodeau.
She held a special place in her heart for her niece, Beth Murphy and nephews, Lane Murphy, Glen Robertson and Eric Robertson.
She was predeceased by her parents as well as her best friend and brother in law, George Murphy.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful nurses and staff at Beacon Hospice and Hyder Family Hospice Home for all their dedication and exceptional care they provided. The family would like to thank Karen N, RN of Beacon Hospice for the exceptional care she provided with such compassion and care to Marsha. You were special to her and are to us.
At Marsha’s request, there will be no services. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
