Rochester: Marjorie M. (Searles) Brasier Pease, 96, previously of Madison, Maine passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in her home cared for by her beloved niece, Donna Durrette. Marj was born on December 13, 1921 in Woodland, Maine; the daughter of the late Rosie (Scott) and Robert P. Searles. She was a Beautician for 32 years until retiring in 1983. She had a passion for gardening, baking, knitting and traveling. She was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church of Dover and the Madison Congregational Church in Madison, Maine. Marj was a Past Matron of Minerva Chapter #74, OES of Madison Maine. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard C. Pease; former beloved husband, Clair F. Brasier; along with her 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Marjorie is survived by her son, Clair L. Brasier and his wife, Phyllis; stepsons, John R. Pease and his wife, Charlotte and Robert H. Pease and his wife, Kathleen; brothers, Sonny J. Searles and his wife, Carol and Robert W. Searles; her 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and her 3 great great grandchildren. Marjorie also leaves her faithful companion Puggy, the dog. Friends and family may call from 4-6pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, NH with a brief service to follow at 6pm. Friends and family may also meet on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 1pm at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Route 43, Park St, Madison Maine for Marjorie’s interment service.
