Barrington – Marion Joyce Hooper Bumford, 81, of Barrington, passed away on November 11, 2014 with her loving family at her side at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH. Born on January 27, 1933 to the late William David and Martha O’Mally Davis, Joyce was born in Eastport, ME. Joyce loved bowling, arts and crafts, and spending time with family. She has been called the “Best Mother in Law” ever. Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Paul Bumford of Barrington; two sons, Brian Paul Bumford and his wife Brenda of Barrington, William Robert Bumford of Manchester; her brother Leonard Hooper of Saco, ME; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from Noon to 1pm at the Purdy Memorial Chapel in Lee. Funeral services will begin following the visitation with Pastor Rob Willis officiating.
