Obituary for Madeleine A "Saucier" Beaudet Mrs.

Berwick, Maine - Madeleine A. (Saucier) Beaudet, 70, died Thursday Aug. 14, 2014 at the Hyder Family Hospice House surrounded by her family after a six-year battle with Alzheimer's. She was born April 16, 1944 in Dover, the daughter of Loretta Doyon Keefe and the late Joseph J. Saucier. Madeleine attended Dover High School and loved to dance, bowl, go camping and spend time with her family. Madeleine is survived by her husband Leo of 27 years, a son Mark of Texas, mother Loretta Keefe of Somersworth, two sisters Marguerite Lawson (Al) of W. Virginia, Doris Stephens (Gary) of Louisiana and one brother Roger Saucier (Denise) of Somersworth; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Madeleine was also predeceased by her brother Donald. The family would like to thank Kim Lancaster who was her caregiver for the last four years and the staff of Hyder House. In lieu of flowers, to help with funeral expenses, contributions may be made in her memory, c/o Roger Saucier, 213 Rte 108, Somersworth, NH 03878. Friends and family may call between 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 19, 2014 at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, Dover, N.H. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 20, 2014 at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish's St. Martin Church, Somersworth, N.H. with Fr. Mike Taylor officiating.
