Obituary for Linda Ruth Cayford Ms.

Lee, NH: Linda Ruth Cayford, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 26, 2012. Linda was born on Wednesday December 15, 1948 in Skowhegan, Maine; the daughter of Stanley and Ruth (Descheneau) Cayford. She was raised in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Linda attended Ralph C. Mahar Regional High school in Orange Massachusetts and later earned her GED. She was a caretaker at Belchertown State School in her young adult life, which shaped her love to service others. Linda attended the University of New Hampshire and completed multiple courses. She volunteered for Parents for Justice, Volunteered as a first responder for Barrington, NH Ambulance, Rural Route Carrier for the USPS, an LNA at Betty’s Dream, and The Lead Intake Coordinator at SCCAP. Linda was a homeowner and resident of the Town of Lee, NH for over thirty years. Her gifts where singing, advocating for others, and budget management. She loved her family, friends, singing, summer, and trees. Linda was a member of the church of Christ for nearly forty years. Linda leaves behind her four children, son William Chenausky, son Thomas Chenausky, daughter Christina Johnson, and daughter Jessica Cayford; five grandchildren, Alina Chenausky, Angelica Johnson, Hailey Chenausky, Chad Chenausky, and Abigail Chenausky. She also leaves behind five siblings, Bonnie Cayford, Wayne Cayford, David Cayford, Patricia Matlock, and Richard Cayford. March 31, 2012 at the Kittery church of Christ, 48 Love Lane, Kittery, ME, 03904. Arrangements are under the direction of Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd., Rte. 4, Lee, NH.
