Obituary for Kenneth R. Timm

Kenneth R. Timm, 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, surrounded by family and so much love. He was born in Greenwich, CT on December 28, 1959, to Ronald and Judith (Tatro) Timm, and was a 1979 graduate of Greenwich High School. He studied Photography at Norwalk Community College, and Mass Communications & Media studies at Berkshire Community College as well as at Cape Cod Community College. Starting at the young age of 14, Ken was a proud volunteer Fire Police for the Glenville Fire Company in Greenwich, CT, and always remembered those years very fondly as he was able to do what he loved most by helping others. In 1979 Ken relocated to Berkshire County to renovate his parent’s bed and breakfast, Centuryhurst Antiques. Throughout the 1980s, Ken was employed at Sheffield Plastics as well Berkshire School. In 1990 until 2000, Ken relocated with his wife and children to Hyannisport, MA, where he enjoyed many summers with his family fishing and clamming. During this time, he was heavily involved with his children's extracurricular activities and was also part of the Boy Scouts of America Pack Committee for many years. Ken was an avid drummer in his younger years, and often played gigs around NYC. He excelled in mathematics and was an absolute history fanatic. He loved photography, music, and classic cars, especially fire trucks. He also loved animals, particularly his two cats “The Sons” Milo & Otis as well as his furry grandchildren Paisley, Dakota, Luci and Samie who always brought him such joy. Ken was an extremely proud father; he leaves behind his son, Joel Timm, daughter, Marcie Timm and her partner, Derik Jamison. Ken is survived by his father, Ronald, and his mother, Judith. Ken is also survived by his brother, Roderick Timm, and his partner Meg Consolini. He also leaves behind his Nephews and Niece, Benjamin Dupont, Ryan Timm, and Howie, Cormac & Fionnuala Mahoney. Ken was predeceased by his life partner and soulmate of 36 years, Michele Boibeaux as well as his Brother, Wayne Timm. Ken will always be remembered for his kind soul, giving nature and his ability to always make everyone around him laugh. His absence will be felt tremendously by all who loved and cared for him. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00pm at Pine Hill Cemetery, 131 Central Ave, Dover, NH.
