Obituary for Kelly McDonough (McDonough)
DOVER- Kelly McDonough, 59, of Dover NH passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 at her home with family by her side. She was born December 20, 1963 to Barbara and Paul McDonough in South Boston, MA.
She graduated from St Thomas Aquinas in 1982. Her retail career began at Bradlees for 15 years and she took great pride spending 27+ years as a retail manager at T.J.Maxx where she met lifelong friends.
She loved spending time with her family, traveling every chance she could. Her grandkids would always brighten her day and she was known as “Fun Noanie”. Kelly had an immense love for Disney World, but her true happy place was anywhere she could put her toes in the sand and the sun was shining. Kelly’s laughter was contagious and she could light up a room with her smile.
She is survived by her daughter Abigail and son-in-law Eric Drobisewski. Grandchildren Katelyn, Blake and Lyla Drobisewski. Siblings Paula McDonough (Patti), Brenda Hamacher (Steven), Stephen McDonough, John McDonough (Tracey), Joyce Carville (Charles) and Daniel McDonough (Christine).
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Kelly’s special friends, Mark and Karen Thomas, and Cindy Stenmark for their never-ending support over the past year.
She is predeceased by her parents, Barbara and Paul McDonough.
Services- Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 PM on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home 655 Central Avenue Dover NH. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday August 9, 2023, at the same location. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Kelly requested donations be made in her name to The Monarch School of New England at PO Box 1921, 105 Eastern Avenue, Rochester, NH 03867.
