Obituary for Kathleen M DeCristofaro (Mullaney)
Kathleen M. DeCristofaro, of Dover, NH, died suddenly on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at age
63.
Kathleen was born in Quincy, MA, on January 21, 1960. She deeply loved and was a
devoted mother and friend to her children Marc and Gia. Kathleen was an enthusiastic
supporter of her children in Special Olympics NH. She demonstrated her motherly
affection by cheering on participants in bowling, swimming, softball, basketball, and
track. Kathleen also served as Marc and Gia’s Direct Service Provider for many years.
Kathleen thoroughly enjoyed crocheting afghans, pillows, stuffed animals, and
Christmas ornaments for friends and family. Gardening, cooking, and community
activities also kept her busy. She particularly enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
The family looked forward to an annual adventure at the NH Motor Speedway for July
Nascar races.
Kathleen was an avid member of Sacred Heart Parish while living in North Quincy, MA,
and more recently Orchard Christian Fellowship in Londonderry, and Durham
Evangelical Church in Durham, both of NH.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Gia, of Dover. Preceding her in death are her
husband Daniel W. DeCristofaro, son Marc L. DeCristofaro, brother Kevin J. Mullaney,
parents Ruth R. (Donnelly) and John A. Mullaney, and in-laws Jeanne and Carmen De
Cristofaro. Kathleen is survived by her sister-in-law Rosemarie Mullaney of Quincy, and
many nieces and nephews, and their young children.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 1:30 pm at Durham
Evangelical Church in Durham, NH. Friends and family are invited to greet Gia and her
extended family at a church reception following the service. A private burial will be held
at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Kathleen and Marc’s names to
