Obituary for June P Clark (Marshall)

June M. Clark, 91, a native of Dover New Hampshire passed in her sleep at noon on July 29th, 2023. June is predeceased by her loving husband Dick who recently passed on July 6th. June and Dick were loving lifelong partners for 71 years, sharing a love for each other admired by many and a passion for family deeply felt by all. June is predeceased by her Mother Mildred (Tuttle) Marshall, and Father Ernest Marshall. Throughout her 91 years of life, June's love for family and her husband was the foundation for her life's choices and the experiences that brought her great joy throughout her life's journey.

June Clark (Marshall) is survived by, her sister Joyce Fish, 94 and her family, her two children Cindi Lakos and Richard Clark Jr. (Rick) and his wife Michele, her four grandchildren, Alexander Lakos, Christian Lakos and his wife Haley, Ryan Clark and his wife Stacie and Kayla Simpson (Clark) and her husband Alric. She was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, Stella, Silas and Rowan Lakos, Sawyer, Marley and Leo Clark and Adrianna Simpson.

In 1956-1971, June devoted her time and love to raising her family. While an at home Mother is a full-time role, June also performed bookkeeping for several small local businesses including Keenen's TV and Appliances and Strafford Farms Dairy of Dover. In 1971-1978 June returned to the outside workforce at Path Lab Inc. in a hospital-based Laboratory where she earned the respect of many as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager of 100 employees. In 1978, June and Dick relocated to Waterville Maine, when Dick became the CEO of Waterville Osteopathic Hospital. In 1980-1984, June was employed by Maine Security and Surveillance, Inc. as a bookkeeper with numerous other duties in payroll and financial record keeping and accountability.

June was instrumental in supporting and sharing in serving the community with her loving husband Dick, throughout his roles in both Rotary and Jaycee's. She participated in many activities in the support of education and care of the younger members of our community. In her own personal journey, she served as a Leader of a local Brownie troop while her daughter Cindi was a member of the Girl Scouts. Her gentle approach and kindness were always present during these joyful activities in support of her children and others.

June and Dick's love for family was at the forefront of all their hard work. They were blessed to have a summer residence in Milton NH, where they made and shared many memories with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition, they had a winter residence at Fort Myers Beach in the early years and other residence, North Fort Myers where June shared many joyful times with Dick, family, and many friends on her lanai. From her lanai, she enjoyed watching a few of her family members in their attempts at successfully hitting a golf ball over the water and on the green located nearly in their backyard. At times the laughter was apparent with a few gasps as her family came close to contributing to the local window fund at the Heritage. June in her gentle nature always encouraged and helped us believe, anything was possible.

June was admired for her love of family and her husband and partner of 71 years, her quiet passion for life, her support of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her loyalty and purpose in serving others and always seeing the good in everyone she met and passing of her wisdom through her own life experiences and journey.
