Obituary for Joyce Pitman Ms.

Joyce (Gagne) Pitman, 67, Apple Gate Apartments G2 Berwick, Maine passed away on Tuesday October 7th, 2014 at Wentworth Douglass Hospital surrounded by her children. She was born on January 17, 1947 in Dover, NH; the daughter Ernest and Dorothy (Campbell) Gagne. Joyce was educated in Somersworth schools. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 69 of Somersworth. Joyce worked in several factories during her teenage years, with most of her life spent working for local hospitals in various positions, where she built many friendships. Joyce’s greatest love was family and friends. She enjoyed sharing memories of her youth along with time spent in Germany. She valued family time, enjoyed gatherings and sharing time with friends. Her greatest past time was watching NASCAR races, feeding birds and squirrels, and conversations near the camp fire. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members include her son’s Michael Desrochers of Barrington, Steven Vuletich and wife Kim of Berwick; daughter’s Cindy Buckman and husband Lawrence of Sanford, Jody Crotty and husband William of Lee; siblings Raymond Gagne and wife Maryjane of Rollinsford and Diana Walker of Farmington. Her grandchildren Todd Desrochers, Natasha Vuletich, Kaitlyn Tetu, Jacob Cobb, Emily, Daniel and Matthew Buckman, Josephine and Jillian Crotty and great-grand daughter Chloe Vuletich. Joyce also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents along with siblings Marieelena Freeman, Edward Gagne and grandson Christopher Desrochers. A celebration of life will be held November 2nd, 2014 at the American Legion in Rollinsford, N.H. at 12pm. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the NHSPCA.
