Josephine grew up in a large Italian family in Gloucester, MA. She shared many adventures with her nine siblings, adventures that became stories her children and grandchildren loved hearing. She and her future husband Frank, met at the local A&P grocery store where she worked, and in 1964, they were married at St. Ann’s Church.

Josephine was employed for many years by the Cape Elizabeth schools where she showed her caring for the students through her cooking and good humor. Upon retirement, Josephine and Frank spent winters in Florida and traveled frequently to Las Vegas. Later, they relocated to Dover, NH to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Josephine had a lifelong love of reading, cooking special meals, laughing and sharing time with family and friends. She was known for speaking her mind, which often led to more laughter.

After her husband Frank's passing, Josephine began attending the First Parish Church in Dover, where she participated in weekly groups and made many close friends. She continued to live independently in her home and loved visits from family and friends. In 2021, Josephine, her children and grandchildren celebrated a special birthday for her on a Disney Cruise vacation through the Bahamas. It was the trip of a lifetime for her. All through her life, Josephine cared and loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Josephine is survived by her son, Frank Fulhan and his wife, Jill of Ashland, MA and by her daughter Kim Nute and her husband Jim; three grandchildren, Matthew and Alex Fulhan, and Emily Nute; two sisters, Angela Borge and Anne Watson of Gloucester; brother, Joseph Bammarito of Cavendish, VT; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Faye Curcuru, Mary Brazier, Frances Susanno and Catherine Francis; brothers, Harry and James Bammarito.
