Jon C McInnes Sr, 56, formerly of Groveland, MA died peacefully surrounded by his family on September 27, 2014. He was the son of the late William McInnes Sr and Barbara McInnes currently of Haverhill, Ma. Jon was born March 21, 1958 in Beverly, MA and was a 1977 graduate of Whittier Vo-Tech HS. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps for 8 years and received an Honorable discharge. He was loved by all and thought of as the most wonderful, generous, and kind hearted man anyone could know. Jon was a hard worker with a great sense of humor and a love for life. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He enjoyed quality time spent with his family and dogs, Chloe and Brewski. He leaves behind his life partner, Judy Fogarty of Barrington, Daughter Stephanie and husband Randall King of JBLM WA, son Jon McInnes Jr and wife Nicole of Barrington, Daughter Lydia Fogarty of Somersworth, son Justin Fogarty and fiancé Rebecca of Rollinsford; Six grandchildren Mary-Ellen, Randall, Jordyn, Brianna, Brady and Connor. Siblings; William and Anne McInnes, Robert and Stacie McInnes, Barry and Diane McInnes, James McInnes, Peter McInnes, Judith Legacy and Hiram Bickford, Andrew and Judi McInnes, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Bruce and his sister Sandra. Calling hours and services will be held Friday October 3, 2014 from 5-7pm at Purdy Memorial Chapel 2 Concord Rd (route 4W) Lee NH.
