Jacqueline Kay Cox Fisher, of Durham, NH and Upper Dam, ME, died peacefully in her sleep August 18, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Wahpeton, ND on September 14, 1933, she married James C. Fisher in 1955. After raising her four children, Jackie returned to school and graduated with honors from the Morris County Vo-technical College with a degree in nursing. She completed a distinguished career in the nursing field and retired with her husband to North Fort Myers, FL before moving to Durham to be closer to family after Jim died. She leaves behind her children, Sharon Malick, and husband Dave, of Clearwater, FL, Cindy Fisher, and husband Joe Backowski of Altamont, NY, Kathy Fisher of Greenland, NH and Eric Fisher, and wife Beth, of Durham, NH and numerous grandchildren.
