Irene L. (Kodym) Masten Northwood: Irene L. (Kodym) Masten, 87, formerly of Northwood, passed away on Fri., August 17, 2012 at the Epsom Manor in Epsom NH. Irene was born on Nov. 26, 1924 in Cliffside Park, NJ; the daughter of Francis and Janina (Podorencka) Kodym. Irene loved sewing, doodling with drawings, to read, to travel and loved to listen to Classical music. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in W. Nottingham, NH. Irene is survived by her, son, Sydney R. Masten and his wife, Anne of Epsom, her daughter, Claudia Evans and her husband, Roland of Farmington, her daughter Theresa Downs and her husband, Robert of Farmington, her daughter Pamela Rafeal and her husband, William of Northwood, her daughter, Christina Everswick of Wharton, NJ, her daughter, Barbarann Quinlan and her husband, Neil of Clay, KY and her daughter Annette Elliot and her husband Eric of Ctr. Barnstead; her 25 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Irene was predeceased by her husband of forever and day, Henry R. Masten, Sr. on March 1st, 1987, her son, Henry R. Masten, Jr. in 2008 and her daughter, Donna Masten in 1998. Friends and family may call on Mon evening, Aug. 20th, 2012 from 4-6:00pm at the Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Rte. 4, Lee, NH. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm at the Chapel with Pastor Jesse Killingsworth, officiating.
