Dover: Herbert N Brown, 98, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Wentworth Home, 795 Central Ave., Dover, NH. Herbert was born on May 6, 1919 in Taunton Ma; the son of Ernest A. and Georgie E. (Osborne) Brown. Herbert served our country proudly during WWII as a Radar Relay Officer from July 1, 1942 until March 10, 1946. He worked and retired from Pease as an Electrical Engineer. Herbert was a member of the Moses Paul Lodge #96, Past Master St. James Lodge in Mansfield, MA. Herbert is survived by his sons, David A. (Cindy) Brown from Cherryfield, ME, Fred N. (Nancy) Brown of Norton, MA, and Rev. Peter A. (Joanne) Brown of Wakefield, MA; his daughters, Janice Brown of CA and Ruth B. (Christos) Philippou of Ann Arbor, MI; 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Helen E. (Smith) Brown; his son, Paul Brown and his daughter, Amy Brown. Family flowers only.
