Barrington - Helen J. Wallingford, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in her home surrounded by family. Helen was born on June 1, 1936 in Barrington, NH to the late Susan Sargent and Kelley Elliott. Helen was a hard working homemaker. For years, she enjoyed working at Demeritt Hill Farms, Leawood Orchards, and Newmarket Shoe. She also enjoyed Playing bingo, scratch tickets, cards, keno, dice, watching wheel of fortune, and Jeopardy. Helen was also famous for her chocolate no baked cookies, which we will all miss. She loved spending time with family & friends. She will be missed by all. She was the wife of the late Richard Wallingford. Helen is also predeceased by her daughter, Emily Wallingford, and her special friend Melvin Eaton. She is survived by her children; Barbara Seppala, of Lebanon me, Susan Emily Wallingford (deceased 6/30/1955), Richard Wallingford Jr,of Randolph NH, Russell Wallingford of Barrington, NH, Bonnie LaPanne of Lebanon, ME, Tammy Wallingford of Rochester, NH; her grandchildren, Nancy Haralson, William, Kenny, Brandy & Donald Lapanne, Russell & Lionel Wallingford; great grandchildren, Devin, Liam, Joey, Quinn, Mercedes, Zakari, Kaylee, Carlee, and Alexis. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11AM, at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave. Dover, NH 03820.
