Nottingham: Gregory W Purington, age 59, of Priest Road passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Exeter Hospital of Exeter, NH. Gregory was born April 21, 1952 in Manchester, NH; the son of the late Stanley and the late Margaret (Locke) Purington. He was employed by Maxima as a Truck Driver. He loved horse racing, playing horseshoes, pool (billiards) and spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by his wife: Sibyl (Bourque) Purington; two sons: Wayne & Christina Purington of Manchester, Scott Purington & Amy Robarge of Nottingham; his brothers, Dwight Purington of Epping and Bobby Stanwood of Florida, and his sister, Robin Costello of Maine; his seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Gregory was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Purington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nottingham Fire & Rescue, PO Box 114, Nottingham, NH 03290. The funeral will be held 10:00am on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Road, Route 4, Lee, NH with LifeCycle Celebrant, Jo Maden, officiating.
