Elizabeth (Betty) Morgan, 76 Passed away in the comfort of her home on October 9, 2014, in Durham, NH Betty was born in 1938 in Portsmouth, NH to parents Florence (Daley) and Scott Goatley. She grew up in Portsmouth and Dover. She married Richard (Dick) Morgan in Portsmouth and the couple had 4 children together. Her husband being in the Air Force, she traveled the United States and made many life long friends along the way. Betty was a member and office holder of the Seacoast Irish Cultural Association and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Seacoast Division 1. Betty enjoyed the seacoast area-especially driving the coastline, the fall colors and raising and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending fairs with her husband and spending time with friends and her faithful dog Baron. Betty is survived by her husband Richard (Dick) Morgan, of Durham, her sons Tim Morgan and wife Lisa of Rochester, Scott Morgan and wife Laurie or Northwood. Her daughters: Lorena Morgan of Missouri, Rhonda Zabielski and husband Mike of Dover and Daughter-in-law Wendi Morgan of Rochester. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Cristina, Teresa, Griffin, Hilary, Nate, Kyle, Robbie, Caitlin and Leslie. A viewing will take place on Wednesday October 15 form 9-1045 at Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home on Central Avenue in Dover, NH with a mass to follow at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church on Chestnut Street in Dover and Burial at St Mary’s Cemetery on Dover Point Road. A reception to follow graveside services at St Mary’s Church Reception Hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty’s life.
