Obituary for Dorothy Irene Flanagan Mrs.

Dorothy (Dottie) Flanagan Dottie Flanagan of Dover passed away peacefully at Wentworth Douglas Hospital on Thursday July 24, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Born October 14, 1933 in Friedensburg, Pennsylvania; the daughter of Arthur and Maude Knoll. Dottie graduated from Beauty School in 1952 and moved to New Hampshire in 1953, and has called Dover home for over 50 years. Dottie also studied Business at McIntosh College, and worked as a Teller at a few local banks, and prior to retirement worked at Clarostat Manufacturing. Dottie enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Riverside Rest Home, and Fresenius Dialysis Center for their compassionate care during these past several months. Dottie is survived by her son David Pridham, granddaughters Brittany and Morgan, her fiancé Jed Wynn and great grandson Miles Wynn; daughter Holly Hillsgrove, her husband Brian, granddaughter Breana Hillsgrove; daughter Jill Pridham, grandson Keith Hope; daughter Debbie Hawkins, her husband Eric, grandson Michael Pridham, his wife Kira, great granddaughter Quinn and great grandson Beckett. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Flanagan in 2005. A graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s cemetery on Dover Point Road at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 1, 2014. A Celebration of life will follow at the American Legion Hall, 640 Central Avenue.
